The Mental Health Association in Greensboro has been a partner and neighbor in Greensboro and Guilford County for over 70 years.  This non-profit, 501 (c)(3) organization provides leadership in identifying and addressing mental health needs and serves as an advocate for those dealing with mental health challenges by promoting hope and recovery.  It’s history is robust with successes and today’s Mental Health Association in Greensboro provides a wide range of services and programs that support mental health and recovery from mental illness in effective and efficient ways.

MHAG seeks to maximize the wellness of individuals, families and communities through education, services and collaboration with community-based mental health professionals. We believe that every individual is an expert in his or her own recovery, and our highly trained staff (many of whom have lived experience with mental illness and addiction) are uniquely qualified to guide our clients in recovery. MHAG provides a safe, judgement-free environment for people in recovery with mental health and/or substance addiction diagnoses to receive peer-led, one to one coaching and mentoring, education and peer support services.
